Besides fees, they pay for hostel, food, your air ticket and miscellaneous expenses. You are not required to pay for anything. All basic needs of a student can be fulfilled by the scholarship during his/her entire stay in Singapore.

Food:Though the meal includes both veg and non veg options, but you should not expect the typical Indian food in the canteen/mess. The quality/cleanliness is top class. Sometimes you may have to buy food from outside. The college timing are from morning to evening, so you would have to eat lunch in college itself, except on weekends.

HostelAll the hostels have all the basic facilities. Most of the hostels are close to the school and in case they are far, transportation facilities would be provided.

Mode of transport: Public buses and Mass Rapid Transport system. The system is very efficient and subsidised for the students. Remember during vacations if you plan to visit India, the air ticket charges would not be covered under the scholarship.

You can easily get phone/mobile facilities once you reach there.

Climate in Singapore:

Singapore is near to sea and its temperature is pleasant almost throughout the year. Its something like Mumbai.

Singapore - India

In Singapore you will find lot of Indians too. In Singapore there is a place known as "Little India" .

What after scholarship

After the completion of your studies you can take admission in Singapore universities / Indian/ US/UK or any other university. If you are a good students, you will not have problem to take admission in a good college or get another scholarship or both.

Singapore is one of the safest country in the world. Don't compare it with countries like Thailand, Malaysia or Indonesia.

Life in Junior College:

Life in Junior College is full of academics, sports, extra curricular activities and lot of other academic and non academic activities. Though the level of academics is not as that of IIT preparation in India but still you will still have lot of uncomparable things. This scholarship is meant for those students who want to move ahead and become global citizen. If you are good in only studies and not in physical activities like sports, you will face some problems. All the Colleges believe in complete education and hence apart from academics, there are various activities in which you can show your skills, talent and interests. As part of the holistic development, students are made to go through a rigorous physical education program, which can be really tough for the guys. In the end, all students have to go through a Physical Education Test, where they are awarded medals. All the Junior Colleges are very strict in disciplinary matters and expect a good code of conduct from every student especially the scholars. Even a normal leave from College requires a Medical Certificate to be presented to the teacher. It means you have to leave the attitude commonly prevalent in India (It's ok, chalta hei, hardly matters etc) The teachers in the colleges are very helpful and masters of their subject. The teaching system follows lecture-tutorial method, whereby a certain topic is first studied in huge lecture halls and then more closely monitored by subject tutors in tutorial lessons.

All the colleges have good library facilities.
