Things which class 8th student should be doing:

  1. Play regularly
  2. Study daily, Read Newspaper
  3. Develop your hobbies
  4. Participate in various competitons ,exams and olympiad (ANGO / ANMO / ANSO ) etc
  5. Now you narrow down your interest to specific one. For example if interested in hobbies then it should be singing / dancing / acting / painting etc.
  6. You should try to get idea about the profession in which you might be interested in.
  7. Appear in NTSE(National talent Search Examination) and other olympiads of your interest.
  8. Check if you are eligible to appear in astronomy olympiad. NSEAJ and NSEJS

1. NTSE 2010 Second round (Exam in May 2010):
  • Eligibility: Cleared first stage of NTSE 2010 (Exam held in Nov 2009)

2. NTSE 2011

(8th studying in session 2010-2011 i.e. First stage in Nov 2010 and second stage in May 2011 (if clears first stage))

3.NTSE 2011 + NSEJS 2011 :

Student appearing for NTSE in class 8th (First stage in Nov 2010)and in NSEJS in class 9th (Exam in Nov 2011)

  • Eligibility: 8th Studying in session 2010 - 2011
  • Fee: Rs 8000 .
  • NSEJS is related to Junior Science Olympiad.

4.NTSE 2011+ NSEAJr 2011 : Student appearing for NTSE (first stage in Nov 2010)in class 8th and NSEAJr in class 9th (Exam in Nov 2011).
  • Eligibility: 8th studying in session 2010 - 2011
  • Fee: Rs 7500.
  • NSEAJr is related to Junior Astronomy Olympiad

5.NTSE 2011 + NSEJS 2011+ NSEAJr 2011

(NTSE first stage in Class 8th (Exam in Nov 2010), NSEJS (Exam in Nov 2011)and NSEA Jr (Exam in Nov 2011)in Class 9th

  • Eligibility: 8th Studying in session 2010 - 2011
  • Fee: Rs 9000

6.NTSE 2011 + NSEJS 2011+ NSEAJr 2011+ RMO 2012

(NTSE in Class 8th (Exam in Nov 2010), NSEJS (Exam in Nov 2011)and NSEA Jr (Exam in Nov 2011)in Class 9th and RMO (Exam in Dec 2012)in class 10th)

  • Eligibility: 8th studying in session 2010 - 2011
  • Fee: Rs 13,700
  • Students (depending on age of birth are also eligible to appear for NSEJS and NSEA Jr in class 10th)
7. NTSE International Students (Indian citizens studying abroad):
8. GK Additional Package GK is not the part of the NTSE as such. This package is for those students who are very much interested in GK too and wants to prepare for GK based olympiads / competitons as well along with NTSE.
