The Imagine Cup encourages young people to apply their creativity, imagination and their passion to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world -today.

A Participant must ensure that his/her team’s duly filled up valid registration form & submission in English language in the prescribed format is posted on www.imaginecup.com/in/sd.aspx on or before the deadlines of the respective rounds.

Round B Deadline: 28th Feb 2010 (11:59 PM )

Eligibility :

You are 16 years of age or older.
You are actively enrolled as a student during the Contest Period at an accredited educational institution that grants high-school or college/university (or equivalent) degrees.
You are not an employee or intern of Microsoft Corporation, or an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary.
You are not involved in any part of the execution or administration of this Contest.
You are not an immediate family member of (parent, sibling, spouse, child) or household member of a Microsoft employee, an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary, or a person involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Contest.
A Team may consist of up to four eligible student Participants & can only represent one country/region- in this case, India. It is recommended, but not required, that the Team have one mentor in addition to the student Team members.

Contest Period: 6th November 2009 to 30th April 2010

Location: Warsaw, Poland

National Finals: April 2010

WorldWide Finals: July 2010

1st Prize: INR 80,000
2nd Prize: INR 70,000
3rd Prize: INR 60,000
Consolation Prizes (for 2 teams): INR 40,000 per team
