There would be no interview in NTSE this year i.e. NTSE 2011.
These are some of the most common question which can be asked in your NTSE Interview of 8th class:

- Interview Board: There can be 4-6 teachers in the Interview board.
- Interview Duration: 10 - 20 minutes. In some case it can extends to 30/40 minutes as well. But the duration is not directly related with the marks!
- Normally the first question is : Tell me about yourself
- Your Hobbies. They can ask in details about your hobbies
- Everything related to your course book
- About your School, your fav teacher, Fav subject, player and WHY!
- What you want to be and why? Sometimes if a student says engineer, they start asking you medical related questions. Overall you should complete ure 8th standard books + chapters covered in ure 9th class (before interview) properly.
- They will see if you are tensed or not. Try to remain calm. If you dont know questions, simply say "sorry". If putting any guess then tell them that "I feel" Something like that.
- Those students who are weak in English need not to be worry. This exam is not about English.
- They will try to check your creativity and thinking capabilty by asking questions based on applications of various physics or chemistry concepts, puzzles, math problems etc.
- You should be thorough with your atlas if you are going to say history or geography as your fav subject.
- Dont try to give vague fundas. Sometimes they can ask you few things which can not be explained as per your books which you have studied. Just tell them what you can judge from it. Sometimes they do ask such type of questions intentionally, to check how you react and perform in cases when you really dont know how to solve! be what you are. Give your Best.
- Many students have lot of doubts regarding the dress for the interview. What dress you will have in case you win a district competition? SImple select the dress in which you are comfortable and feel confident. In case you are not able to judge anything than you can also wear your school uniform.
- 8th class student can be very intelligent but is not mature. Parents are requested to encourage student so that they can give their best!!
- Most of the questions would be from your syllabus and related topics.
- Remember: Interviews goes the way, you want it to be!
- Interview time: Can be from 10 minutes to 25 minutes.
