NTSE - International Students (Indian Citizens Studying Abroad) |

The National Talent Search Examination is open for students of Indian nationality whether they study in India or abroad at class VIII level. Students studying abroad are exempted from the 1st level (state level) test and can directly appear in the 2nd level examination (national level) conducted by the NCERT. A candidate must have scored at least 60% in the class 7th. Test would be conducted in India only. No expenses paid to the student. A candidate desiring to appear in the NTSE may request through the head of the institution (where he/she is studying) along with an attested copy (attested by the head of the institution) of the previous annual examination marksheet. The request should reach the Head, Department of Educational Mesaurement and Evaluation, NCERT, New Delhi 110016 by 31st march 2009. If selected for scholarship, the scholarship would be paid if pursuing studies in India only. A successful NTSE aspirants is benefited if applying for US or other universities for higher studies.
