NSE (National Standard Examination)

To participate in National and International Olympiads, NSE is the 1st step.

NSEJS: National Standard Examination in Junior Science, conducted for the 1st time in 2008.All Indian students born on or between January 1, 1995 and December 31, 1996 are eligible to appear for NSEJS. i.e. on 31st Dec 2009 the student should be of age 13-15 years.

NSEA 2008 (National Standard Examination in Astronomy)

It is conducted at two levels:

1. Junior Level (All Indian students born on or between January 1, 1994 and December 31, 1995 are eligible to appear for NSEA (Junior level). In addition, they should be in Class X or lower.) i.e. Class VIII, IX and X (depending on dob) i.e. on 31st Dec 2008 the student should be of age 13-15 years.

2. Senior Level (All Indian students born on or between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 1993 are eligible to appear for NSEA (Senior level). In addition, they should be in Class XII or lower. Students who have passed Class XII are not eligible.) i.e. Class X, XI and XII (depending on dob). i.e on 31st Dec 2008 the student should be of age 15-19 years on 31st of Dec 2008.

NSEP (National Standard Examination in Physics)

It is conducted for class XI and XII

NSEC (National Standard Examination in Chemistry)

It is conducted for class XI and XII

NSEB (National Standard Examination in Biology)
